Privacy Policy

The conversations you have with COROS are among the most personal you will have anywhere. This is a plain account of how we hold them: what we collect, how it is used, who can see it, and the rights you hold.

Effective January 16, 2025 · Last updated June 7, 2026

Yours.

Your conversations belong to you. Delete any of them, or all of them, at any time in Settings. When you delete, it is gone; we keep no shadow copy.

Never sold.

We do not sell your data and we show no advertising, and we do not allow outside AI providers to train their models on your conversations.

Confidential, with restraint.

A small council may review de-identified excerpts, only to keep COROS safe and to improve the coaching, and every access is recorded.

COROS AI (“COROS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by COROS AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation. This policy explains what we collect, how COROS works, who is able to see your conversations, and the rights you hold over your information.

1. What we collect

We collect your account information (such as your name and email); your conversations with COROS, both what you say and what it replies; and basic technical information (such as device and browser data) used to operate and secure the service. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to make the product function. Your conversations are the most sensitive information we hold, and the rest of this policy is mostly about them.

2. Service providers and processing

To provide COROS, we rely on a small number of established and reputable service providers, each of which performs a specific function: understanding language, recognizing speech, generating voice, and hosting data. Your conversations are shared with them only to perform these functions, only on our instructions, and under written agreements that require them to protect your data, to use it solely to provide their service to us, and not to use it for their own purposes, including the training of their own models. We do not otherwise disclose your conversations to third parties.

3. How we use your conversations

We use your conversations to operate COROS and to improve the quality of its coaching. We do not sell your data, we do not disclose it for advertising, and COROS contains no advertising. As stated above, the providers who process your conversations are not permitted to use them to train their own models.

4. Human review, by a small council

Software cannot, on its own, tell us whether COROS is coaching well. For that reason a small group within our company, the Coaching Quality Council, reviews conversations to keep COROS safe, accurate, and genuinely helpful. The Council is made up of senior practitioners with at least five years of dedicated study and practice in the tradition. This work is bound by the following limits:

  • De-identification first. Before a Council member reviews a conversation, our systems remove names and replace identifying details. The process is automated and imperfect; on occasion an identifier remains, and reviewers are instructed to disregard identity and to act on no recognition, whether deliberate or accidental.
  • The Council only. Routine review is limited to these members. No one else in the company reviews conversations in the ordinary course.
  • Only what is necessary. Reviewers read the excerpts needed to judge quality, not your history for its own sake.
  • Every access recorded. Each time a stored conversation is accessed, we record who accessed it, when, and for what purpose, and we review those records.

From what they observe, the Council and our engineers adjust how COROS is instructed and how it responds. This is how it becomes a better coach.

5. Your free access

COROS is free to begin, with a generous allowance of 100 messages. We let you know inside the app as you approach it, and when you reach it we invite you to subscribe to keep going.

6. Security

Your conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to them is restricted and recorded as described above.

7. Keeping and deleting your data

We retain your data only as long as needed to provide the service or as the law requires. You can delete any conversation, your entire history, or your whole account at any time in Settings. When you delete, we remove the data from the systems we control and instruct our providers to do the same; residual copies may persist briefly in routine backups before they expire.

8. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can access, copy, or delete your data at any time, in Settings or by writing to [email protected]. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights to correct or restrict your data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. If you are a California resident, you also have the right to know what we collect and to opt out of the sale of personal information, which we do not engage in.

9. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.

10. Not for minors

COROS is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Changes

We may revise this policy. We will post the revised version and update the date above, and we will give notice of significant changes.
